Great news on the adoption front! Yesterday we learned that we made it through approval #1!! DCFS in IL approved our home study so it is now on its way to USCIS!! That means (hopefully) in 4-6 weeks, we will have our 171H!!! And shortly after that our dossier will be on its way to Kaz!!

I am glad things are moving along. It took us about 7 weeks to get through DCFS & USCIS in IL - I think it took 4 weeks to get through USCIS in November. Be ready to go with everything else. You are in the home stretch!
